Dog~Human head mix

3D modeling project With nurbs, also used render layers for the first time to do something neat, pushed out an occlusion map and colour maps and composited them in photoshop for this neat output. Still could use some more practice with Nurbs but definitely got a better feel for them this time around.

3D Final Character Concept Planning

Probably the simplest character ever for a Tradigital 3D final, I had bigger plans but this got approved the first one didn't. Anyways Flushing out the features that will be in the photo realistic sack, lose threads, believable textures etc. I'll post more as i go.

Main Character will be a Nurb model. I really like the deform traits over the poly, just gonna take some time to build him and the custom Rig.

Pets are awesome

So it makes it tough for me to hold back from interacting with them. But I gave it my all, and proud to say i held back for once haha. Got some good cat drawing from him too as he ignored me their was never a sit beside me and taught moment just ignoring the invader, but that fine as long as he doesn't hate me, cause hes pretty sweet cat.

Evening Sketching

Ah just playing around, noticed one of the artist i like uses alot of squares to build on his gesture so thought i would give it a try. Feeling really empowered by the pencil lately. Did these really fast like no more then a min or two, just so i wouldn't over think my lines, just scribbles them down fast. and then went over with the pencil and pulled out the lines i liked.

1st official post from 3rd year

The First image is just a quick Snap of Our first Lighting & Rendering Project i got a day ago. Abit Earger i jumped at it like a cat on open tuna can.. Along with that we have projects in Modeling, 3D Animation, 2D animation and with those the 2 final projects spanning the 8 months a 2d & 3D 1min Animation. Well getting small projects from each class and electives all along the merry way... Life Drawing my heavenly break from it all XD

The Pic below that is our 2D room with Traditional Light discs. The room is held for the 3rd year seating, they say it's a treat but really they just don't want us scaring off the 1st and 2nd yrs when we turn into zombies near the end of each semester <,<

And the last pic, my humble room of solitude. Not to be mistaken with self solitude no no i will never use this room. It's more the room self solitude if the room was thought of as a being. The idea of me escaping the 2D room or 3D room could be thought of as laughable really. Or atleast so my head has been filled with ideas the Great 3rd year Adventure!

And my growing pile of books, Yes that's right i do read, and found something i enjoy reading... And now i can't stop buying books, its like an infections. From my friends like the urge to by statues and figures but i've kept that urge at bay for the moment... The Illusion of Life is my favorite for sure, words carry a lot of truth, the kinda truth that you can see all around. And my dear comp served me well the last 5 yrs but i fear its on it's last legs.

Cought In the act

Well sketching a decided to try and draw myself in the act of a good sketching session, and ya just a quick doodle.

Cozzy Cloths + Blanket + sketch pad + 2 sleeping but purring cats = Good sketching

That's the winning combo, toss in the girl of your dreams, and without a doubt the sketching gets even better, or it all falls apart as you distract each other <,<

Co_op project #2 Rift Passage

Not very often i post a rough, but this drawing is not out of my hands passed onto the next in the chain of two ppl. Coop art just good fun with friends, look forward to posting the final image we come up with.
Small story behind this, Instead of me doing a bg to character someone no names, got lazy and told me to go right ahead and take full creative merit with bg design, that he would then add the character too... So needless to say i pushed the bg, and focused some more on man made objects with in nature.

Weekend doodles

Forgotten Lands.. Now with 100% new Clouds!
This has been an on and off sketch for most of the week. This sketch was about the clouds for the most part, i would like to colour it, yet I have frames to draw today and ya time time time, La sigh. I just tossed on a really really quick shadow pass for some depth & abit of sky/cloud wash.
